I have received many, many requests from new readers asking who Mr. Guerre is and from long-time readers asking what happened between myself and Mr. Guerre. This is the best neutral explanation I can come up with to satisfy both inquires:

Mr. Guerre was my lover for a long time. I started the Lady Cheeky (www.LadyCheeky.com) blog for him … for us to share.

Of course, as fate would have it, we fell in love … a very true love that neither of us were expecting.

We lived in different cities and traveled a great deal for our respective jobs. Sadly, we were unable to make “us” work as a long distance relationship. We broke up, re-kindled our relationship and alas, broke up for the final time.

I feel (and he would agree) that this was/is the strongest love (and attraction) not to mention the strongest bond either of us have ever felt with another human being. However, sometimes life gives you big, game changing choices to make, and for whatever reason, one settles on the choice that doesn’t include the love of their life.
